Juvass SL trening 13/6/25

Right now, I’m in the middle of my last ski camp before summer – and I’m really reminded of how fun it is to be back on snow. We’re training on the Juvass Glacier, and conditions have been perfect these first few days. Skiing has gone really well, and both my coach and I are happy with the progress.

So far, we’ve focused on slalom, and today we’re starting with giant slalom. Warmer weather is expected in the coming days, so we’ll need to start salting the course to keep it firm – a classic part of summer training up here.

One extra highlight this week was picking up a brand-new pair of race boots from Salomon. I did a quick trip home to Hemsedal yesterday to grab them, and I’m super excited to test them out today. They look amazing, and I’m really happy with both the skis, boots, and the strong support I get from Salomon – it gives me confidence and the best setup for continued development.

Another big moment for me recently was receiving a cultural grant from Hemsedal Municipality. That means a lot – both as inspiration and as support for my journey. I’m truly thankful that my home community believes in me and what I’m working towards.

After this camp, I’ll go on a short golf trip with some ski teammates before July kicks off. It’s going to be a busy month with work at Nesfjellet, combined with dryland training – an important phase before things ramp up again in August. July will be intense, but also a crucial time to keep building toward next season.

Thanks for following along!
