🎯 The way forward – my goals towards 2027

My focus for the next two seasons is targeted, ambitious – and entirely possible with the right support. Here are the main goals I am working towards, both sportingly and strategically: There is a dream in the distance, which is to represent Norway in the World Championships on home soil in Narvik 2029.

Season 2025/26
Sporting goals
– Top 20 on the European Cup start list in slalom
– Win a Continental Cup race
– Top 3 in the Norwegian National Ski Slalom
– 15 FIS points in SL
– Be selected for the EC national team

Strategic goals
– Strengthen visibility through mattalarsen.com and social media
– Enter into 3–5 partnerships with companies that want to join the journey
– Contribute as a role model and motivator for younger athletes in Hemsedal IL

Season 2026/27
Sporting goals
– Qualify for World Cup start in SL
– Stabilize myself among the top 10 in the Europa Cup SL
– Build a foundation for a World Cup selection or a permanent place in the WC

Strategic goals
– Increase sponsorship budget so I can concentrate fully on sports
– Further develop the role as a role model for younger generations - through hard work, anything is possible
– Create content and valuable collaborations that inspire and engage
