A long road back after a fibula fracture
On August 11th, I broke my fibula – right in the middle of my most important preparation period before the new season.Everything I had planned suddenly stopped. Instead of building speed and power, I had to start from scratch – focusing on recovery, patience, and discipline.

It’s been a real battle to get back on skis. Long days of rehab, strength training, and mental focus. But thanks to a solid plan and the incredible support around me, I’ve been able to rebuild step by step.
Back on skis after just 6½ weeks
After six and a half weeks, I clicked back into my bindings for the first time – at SNØ Indoor Ski Hall in Norway. It wasn’t easy, but it felt amazing. Every small turn was a victory, a reminder of why I love this sport so much.
Together with my coaches and physio, we built a structured recovery plan that allowed me to regain stability and confidence safely.
Fantastic training week in Levi 🇫🇮
This past week I’ve been in Levi, Finland, and for the first time since the injury, I’ve really been able to push my limits again.Conditions have been great, the rhythm is coming back, and every run feels stronger than the last. It’s an incredible feeling to be back where I belong – on snow, chasing hundredths.
Next stop: Storklinten, Northern Sweden 🇸🇪
Next week I’m heading to Storklinten for more training and progression. The goal now is clear – keep building form, confidence, and speed as the season gets closer.
Grateful for the support
I’m truly thankful for everyone who has supported me during this period – my family, coaches, teammates, and sponsors.Your trust and encouragement mean the world to me.
